Four vehicles in this border town of Dharchula had their windscreens shattered by rocks from Nepal, and their drivers had to leap into the Kali River to save themselves, according to officials on Saturday.
On Friday, "Indian personnel were attacked once more from the Nepal side," according to Farhan Ahmad of the SDO irrigation department.The source stated on Saturday that the attack was one of many that had been made in recent days from across the border on Indian laborers working on the building of a safety wall along the Kali river.
According to him, the catapulted stone tossing here smashed the windscreens of two dumper trucks and two tipper trucks.
